Happy saturday and happy late Thanksgiving, I'm so thankful for this year because I discovered my passion for sewing, historical fashion etc. I bought the pattern from blacksnailpatterns and it was really easy! I used cambric and lace. I decided to make the version 2 of the pattern. •I cut the pattern and closed the shoulder seams •the took the lace fabric and stitched on cambric. •put the collar •closed the side seams •put the sleeves •then put the cuff And it's done! Hey!!!!! Today I'm gonna show you how I made my Petticoat.  I saw the post of Modista do desterro, she's Brazilian , it's in Portuguese but it was very easy. She uses sheets to make but I used the cambric that I already had.  I decided not to add lace this time and I didn't close the back, I left it open to facilitate.  To day's post is more like talking, if you want to know more how to do it, I invite you to go on her blog.  Last week was my birthday, I put on my Edwardian costume and I felt like the most beautiful woman in the world.  Happy Saturday! Hope you're having a great day so far! Today we're making an Edwardian inspired hat.  You will need: 1- straw hat 2- satin ribbon 3-thread and needle 4-hot glue 5- flowers 6- scissors First you will decide how tall your hat will be and remove the line from the strip; Then you will take what's left of the top of the hat and sew it where you let it go; After sewing, you take the satin ribbon and glue it with hot glue around the hat; And finally take the flowers and glue the hat too.
