Hello, friends! Hope you're having a great saturday!
Today is the last post related to my birthday project, which was inspired by the Edwardian era, so today it is about the dress that is actually a skirt, blouse and belt.
I bought the mold from blacksnailpatterns, which has very good patterns, I highly recommend it!
At first I was going to buy pure silk crepe de chine but it was very expensive, so I decided to buy another type of crepe, ana crepe, I bought 7.5m. I decided not to put any ornaments on the clgarments, because the fabric is the most beautiful thing alone.
It's made of polyester but does not heat anything, remembering that if you can't buy expensive fabrics for your clothes, it is good that you wear cotton / linen underwear so that your body can breathe better and you feel more comfortable.
The pattern is very easy, in the part of the blouse you basically need to close the sides and make the finishes and the skirt may be a little complicated, there are several molds to form a skirt, I needed to make some adjustments because the front and back were a little big, but otherwise it was great. In the instructions they say it is to put brackets but I decided to put a zipper, yes, zipper and it was the best thing!
The outfit is fantastic, I felt like a goddess from the Edwardian era HAHAHAHA I love it but it was amazing, wasn't it?
Well that''s it. I'm very happy! It's never too late to start doing what you love!
Next week I have something new for another project!
Have a great day!
xoxo
