Haute Couture Project

 Hello everybody, hope you're having a lovely day so far.

Before I start, I would like to ask you if you are enjoying the posts? Is there anything you would like to know more about?

As you know I'm a fashio design student and in sewing class the teacher asked us to make a garment inspired by a haute couture brand using techniques that they use and needed to be done by hand. 

Techniques would be: tressê, pleats, ruffles, embroidery etc. 

I chose Dior and thought about making a dress with a cape. I chose a plaid cotton fabric that looks like tweed, I think it matched the brand and what I wanted. 

I made a long skirt with pleats, a blouse and all this can become a dress, in addition to I made a cape using the same fabric, creating this look. I loved it, I intend to recreate soon!

Edwardian Gown

 Hello, friends! Hope you're having a great saturday! Today is the last post related to my birthday project, which was inspired by the Edwardian era, so today it is about the dress that is actually a skirt, blouse and belt. I bought the mold from blacksnailpatterns, which has very good patterns, I highly recommend it! At first I was going to buy pure silk crepe de chine but it was very expensive, so I decided to buy another type of crepe, ana crepe, I bought 7.5m.
